MERA Corp. today announced the development of the MERA Oil Refining Infrastructure Project, a long-term strategic initiative designed to establish a world-class refining, trading, and logistics platform in the GCC. Anchored by a planned 200,000 barrels-per-day (BPD) refining capacity, the project is envisioned as a diversified energy infrastructure platform rather than a single refinery asset, integrating refining operations with trading, storage, transportation, and logistics capabilities to support regional and global energy markets. The project is led by MWG Enterprises as Lead Sponsor, with the Patel Family Office and AHQ Group serving as Co-Sponsors, reflecting a strong partnership committed to long-term value creation. Designed with a 100-year operating horizon, the MERA Oil Refining Infrastructure Project represents a generational investment focused on building resilient, scalable, and sustainable energy infrastructure that will strengthen supply chain efficiency, enhance market connectivity, and support the evolving demands of the global energy sector.
