Marc Gunderson was born in South Florida, where he spent much of his childhood and competed as a nationally ranked collegiate tennis player. He later relocated with his family to Fort Worth, Texas, which he now calls home. A serial entrepreneur at his core, Marc has founded, acquired, developed, and operated more than 45 businesses throughout his 43-year career. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, or principal advisor to more than 15 companies across a broad range of industries.

Marc brings more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, including energy development, drilling and production operations, infrastructure, project financing, strategic partnerships, and large-scale commercial transactions. His broader business experience spans real estate, construction, healthcare, technology, transportation, manufacturing, equine ventures, and private investment. Throughout his career, Marc has managed and operated organizations with an aggregate operating value exceeding $750 million. He is the cornerstone and driving force behind MWG Enterprises and its affiliated entities, providing strategic direction, leadership, and oversight across the organization’s investments and development initiatives. Having built many of his businesses from the ground up, Marc has a genuine appreciation for the discipline, sacrifice, and determination required to succeed as an entrepreneur. He remains committed to creating opportunities, supporting strong leadership teams, and providing promising businesses with the resources, relationships, and strategic guidance necessary to grow and flourish.
